Well we must say we had a great run in exploring some wonderful eateries serving Biryanis. To much of my surprise finding 7 awesome Biryani joints in such a small area was beyond expectations. It just goes to show how popular Biryani is and that it is a cult in our culture. This was obviously the last one and it does not feel like a summit yet. I guess the thirst and passion to find one more is still alive. Though we close here, I must say that the trail has been very rewarding on bonding with my kids a lot. Really thankful….. The buck stopped at Bamboo….a unique experience and a very subtle Biryani to follow.
The place was full and for the first time we had to wait for a table. I do not know how the captain anticipated our choice, but he offered to place our Biryani order while we waited. People around knew their stuff and this makes one so much more confident of the food to come. The portions are big and that sometimes means that you cant order more. But just the one did the trick…
You can see the happiness on the faces…waiting for the bamboo feast. The food was very nice, subtle and flavorful. We found it hard to hold back that one more….morsel.
Good news is that while the Biryani Express has come to an end…our trip to my daughters dance classes is going to be on for a few more years…May be we find another trail or may be we get to real reviewing…lets leave it for the Spring to come in and clear the air.
As usual, I will keep the Biryani Raiders snap…We like it a lot!
